First, I'm not a hardcore fanboy or "trekker", and I really couldn't believe how amazing this movie was during and after. The effects were incredible as expected, but the story was truly the star of the show. HUGE kudos to the writers! I mean it was executed perfectly. I don't want to say too much, as to give away important plot points, but this was not like watching a remake. Long time and hardcore fanboys will appreciate all the commonalities between these new movies and the original motion pictures. The great part, is that newer, younger viewers will love these movies as well, because they truly can stand on their own! I plan on seeing it again, before it leaves the theater! This is a definite, "DO NOT MISS" movie!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
