Some of it I had already seen...

Overall, I did learn some wildlife facts from the movie. However, some of the scenes I had already seen on the Discovery Channel for free. It was no surprise to me that Discovery helped produce it. Had I known this ahead of time, I would not have gone. Also, sometimes the narrator did not tell you what the animal on the screen was. When you have 2 small children with you, it is important to know this since they ask ALOT of questions. I think the idea of the movie, and the fact that it is Earth Day realated is a plus. However, the movie could've been much better had I not seen some of it before and if I knew what all of the animals were.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

The action was non-stop! Health Ledger was beyond excellent and Christian Bale was superb. Of course, you can't go wrong with Morgan Freeman either! I would definitely suggest that you see it at an IMAX theater as some of the scenes are so visually stunning. I would go see it again and again...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
