I was a little worried after the 2nd one, but I am glad they took their time to make this one. It was worth waiting for. The effects were great, the story was great, the large number of bots were great, it was awesome to see all my old favorites and a ton of new ones. It didn't seem long to me at all because it was so engrossing, I didn't even see it in 3D and it was still great. I will be seeing this one again, and again.

Better than expected

Before seeing this movie I read the reviews left and a great many of them were bad. However, my children wanted to see it and so we went. I guess reading all the bad reviews lowered my expectations of the movie, so I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be good. Because I have children who have watched the cartoon, I was somewhat familiar with the plot and they did a good job sticking close to it when you consider they took a couple of seasons and condensed it down into a just under 2 hour movie. Admittedly the acting was a bit stilted in places, and for 2 of the actors there is no excuse, Dev Patel was awesome in "Slumdog Millionaire" and Jackson Rathbone has been in all 3 "Twilight Saga" movies; that would be the directors fault for letting them get away with it. I can only hope that it will improve in the next movie.

Great Family Movie

It is so nice to be able to take the family to see a great movie on a hot summer day. We all loved it. The effects were awesome and the 3-D glasses were so much nicer than any we have ever gotten before. The story was good, it flowed really nice; there was just enough suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat, but not scare the younger ones and enough comedy and action for the older ones (the kids range from 15 - 7). We are going to see it again!

Great Family Movie

This is a great family movie that we all enjoyed, at ages 41, 11 and 7. The animation is great, the characters are great and the story has a great message for everyone. I would recommend this movie to anyone.
