Fans of the series will not be disappointed, as all the original crew is there, and the action never lets up. While a few of the action stunts are unbelievable at best, they add to the feel of the movie. All in all, a good time. Watch the ending for the set up to #7

I could tell from the previews that the lead character had been drinking the night before the flight, yet managed to perform an almost unthinkable act that saved numerous lives.
What we did not know was that Denzel's character was a full blown alcoholic. The movie is really a character study of a man who finally comes face to face with his inner demons and through personal and professional tragedy must own up to his problem.
All in all, a good movie. Parents should know that the film contains nudity and drug use, as well as harsh language.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

The film has much to speak for of the franchise itself. An aging Bond in which both Bond and M are courted for retirement by the MI6 brass. The villain specializes in cyber crime. The film could have been shortened a little and been just as effective. The new Bond girl was killed off too soon in my opinion (Sorry for the spoiler alert) A nice treat was the role of Albert Finney as the guardian of Bond's family estate, and of course, fetching the Aston Martin in one last hurrah.
All in all, a good film in which, despite all the odds Bond lives to fight again.

Those thirsting for an action packed film will likely be disappointed. The film is long and seems to be wasting time it could be spent entertaining the audience. The one bright side is Anne Hathoway's outstanding performance as Cat Woman. She even fights better than Bale's Batman character. If the film had been shorter and contained more action sequences, it would have been great. As is it is only mediocre.

Good action flick

Having not seen the original three I was not left totally out in the cold. the first few scenes filled in the blanks well enough. The movie is rather fast paced and action-filled, and of course the final scene set up the possibility for yet another sequel. Overall a good film to watch.
