I am a die hard potter fan and I expect the movies to be loyal to the books. I felt that David yates added scenes to the movie that added nothing to the plot and that only served to make up for the abscence of a fight scene in the end. Also, this book was unique because it gave you a chance to get to know voldemort and by the end of the movie you don't know voldemort any better.that being said, looking at it strictly as a movie, it was pretty good but as an adaptation of the book I found it to be a little disappointing. However I do have faith that David yates will pull through in the last two movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
