Amazing Film - A Real Coup!

Being a longtime fan of Star Trek in all its incarnations over the decades, I went to see this film with excitement and trepidation alike, having heard how radically different a take J J Abrams would put into it, but I was literally blown away. This film will have any hardcore Trek fan at times laughing at the great references to the old series, and shedding a tear or two at the sheer beauty and greatness of the film. Saw it in IMAX in digital video the second time around, and although STAR TREK was not filmed in 70mm IMAX, the digital video made the images so crisp, and digital EX surround sound really immersed you in the action and in Michael Giacchino's beautiful, soaring score. A must-see for Trekkers and non-Trekkers alike!
