Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 1 was not disappointing. After the long wait I was delighted to see all my favorite characters again. Exciting, sad, thrilling, and moving, this film adds even more depth to the already established characters we've all come to love and loathe. We say farewell to some beloved characters while we say hello to new ones. With excitement at every turn, the 150 minutes flew by! Can hardly wait for Part 2! O.O Is it summer yet?
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Nolan is a genius, pure and simple. He builds layer upon layer upon layer in Inception. He goes deep into the human mind, yet does it so simply and with heart. His limited use of CGI was a smart choice in this day and age of overuse. I couldn't think of a more perfect cast. His use of camera angles added to the suspense, as well as Mr. Zimmer's mesmerizing music. DiCaprio shone, as usual, and makes one wonder when the AMPAS will recognize him for his gift of pure talent. I will definitely see Inception a second time in IMAX. IMAX highlighted my enjoyment and is an asset to filmakers of Mr. Nolan's caliber. Dump 3D, which is just an annoying fad, and make more movies in IMAX!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

With breathtaking vistas and a story that touches us all, The Last Airbender is that rare movie that pulls you in from the beginning and holds onto you until its fantastic ending. I wish it was longer to include more of the details of the story. I hope the ending is a hint of what is yet to come from Mr. Shyamalan and a talented cast. Noah Ringer was exceptional as Aang, with his poise, stillness, and expressive eyes, this young actor shone even in the most difficult scenes. I would like to end this review with a plea... Mr. Shaymalan, please make another one! :)
I haven't had this much fun at a horror movie in a while. Not for the squeamish, CRAZIES is entertaining and fun. Actor Joe Anderson steals the show as far as I'm concerned. but everyone is believable in their roles. One tip... Don't go see it alone. :)
When will Leonardo DiCaprio be recognized for the talent he is? Shudder Island showcased his range perfectly. The movie is bleak, riveting, and downright creepy. Once again Scorsese and DiCaprio wow the audience with their vision on the delicate topic of mental instability. The twist at the end was done perfectly, with Leo proving once again that he is this generation's leading man. I highly recommend this film to anyone who wants to be absorbed into a movie that makes you think.
I was skeptical when I heard they were making a Sherlock Holmes movie. But I must say I was impressed with the film and everyone in it. It was fun, exciting, and thrilling. Robert Downey Jr was superb as the amazing sleuth and he and Jude Law played perfectly off each other. It was nice to see a fresh take on the character. The end left a wide opening for a sequel. All I can say about that is... WHEN? :)
