Good plot, poor writting

I went to this movie hoping for a change from the usual Hollywood dribble. From the tag line it looked promising. I love Julianne Moore. However, while the plot was promising, the writting was anything but. I had the whole thing written in my head 20 minutes into the movie. The cliches were flying and the on-the-nose dialogue had me rolling my eyes most of the movie. The characters were Hollywood's impression of lesbians not as real as they could have been.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
