Really? I had no idea this movie was about karma and reincarnation. If you're into that kind of nonsense, I still don't think you would like this movie. The story moves back and forth between 6 different stories, and gets nauseating after a while. The only moderately entertaining thread is the one involving "Cavendish" (portrayed by Jim Broadbent of Harry Potter fame). At 3 hours, there is way too much going on for too long a time to hold your interest. Several people in the theater got up and left beginning at the 1:39 mark of the movie. I was sure the movie was almost over when they started leaving, but there was almost half the movie remaining when I looked at the time!
The premise of the movie is based on karma, where I thought if you did good things then good things would happen to YOU. Apparently, I was wrong. If you do good in this life, then good will happen to you in your subsequent lives. I am not sure, but there is a strange relationship to the number "6" in the film, and neither me nor my fiance understood it. There were six stories, six reincarnations of each life and the last name of "Sixsmith" in each of the threads. Too many other things to try and figure out to even worry about that meaning.
There was also an amusing aspect in which in the far future, white people live in the jungle/wild and live in tribes, and black people are the advanced race, with Halle Berry arriving to a jungle island to help the desolate white tribal people. I suppose it was supposed to represent a karma thing as well?
To try and make a horribly long story short, even if you believe in karma and reincarnation nonsense, I feel you'd find this movie difficult to enjoy.
Cons too complex, slow, too long
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I don't usually give 5 stars, but this entertaining, funnyq and action-packed flick is worth every bit 5 stars. Excellent character development where each character gets good and well-used screen time. Family-friendly, except for minor words heard commonly on television, even some non-demeaning references to God Himself. The Hulk looks great as CGI, and they Did a fantastic job making Hulk look like actor Mark Ruffalo. While the Hulk has the 2 of the funniest moments in the film, I still wish they would make him talk more like in the comics. This can add to the comedic relief as well. Comic book fans will appreciate some of the nuances of the relationship between Cap and Iron Man, but you don't have to know anything about the conmics to enjoy the movie. Spoiler Alert: Stay tuned at the end for not one, but two Easter eggs. Only fans of the comics will understand the first one (it's Thanos!). The second is just downright hilarious (and my son informed me the just filmed the second egg two weeks before international release!) The Avngers is an extremely entertaining Summer flick and is certain to break some box office records.
Pros well paced, great story
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Bad ending

The movie started out good, but really never went anywhere after the first 20 minutes. The wolves seemed superhuman rather than just regular wolves, and there was never any point in the film in which I felt they were nothing more than CGI. The ending was a huge let down - very anticlimactic.
