Lives up to expectations

I went into this movie knowing a bit about Iron Man, but not that much. I've read some comics with him in it, a few Avengers, some of his own. I have to say that this movie was very well done and lived up to the comic well. The lead actors played their roles to the tee, and the side actors didn't make me cringe. Robert Downey, Jr. was at his rapid fire best, and Jeff Bridges played a very low key, very creepy villain well. I could have done without the romp with the Vanity Fair reporter and stewardess pole dance, but other than that I enjoyed the movie. I don't think it was over the top, and it has quite the nice set up after the credits are done. I look forward to seeing what's next for this franchise and/or off shoots of it.
