Out of all of the movies that I have seen, I was really disappointed with this one. I was expecting more action in the movie. I did not read the book because I know that movie companies usually do not follow the book that much anyways. Burning Hagrid's home was totally unnecessary because it initially gives you the implication that he was killed also. Also, when the deatheaters gained access to Hogwarts, why would they just settle on destroying the dining area and Hagrid's home? You would have thought that they may have tried to take out the other instructors. I just think that the storyline spent way too much time developing these love relationships which really do not add that much to the movie.
I have seen many movies in my lifetime and I have to say this movie is arguably one of the best movies I have ever seen. It provides a wonderful example of the human spirit at its finest. Heath Ledger became the Joker and was overwhelmingly convincing in his role which makes it even more saddening that he has passed on. The storyline kept you in suspense and provided a nonstop rollercoaster ride into the mind of a madman. I was literally awestruck by the entire movie.
This movie has a nice mix of comedy and drama. It also provides the viewer with the epic battle of good vs. evil. The advertisers did a great job of hiding the plot twist that was revealed in the movie. Will Smith, as always, is a phenomenal actor. Charlize Theron is electrifying. Jason Bateman does a great job at portraying the mediator and Hancock transformer. I look forward to seeing the movie again!
I have always been a big Iron Man fan ever since I was a child. I really liked how they portrayed how money can corrupt even the brightest of minds. But when faced with the reality of how his weapons were being used, Mr. Stark makes it his mission to right the wrongs of his business partner. It was a great portrayal of human nature and the fight for survival at all costs. I am a technology geek and I was overwhelmingly impressed with the various technologies introduced in this movie. The introduction of the Avengers project at the very end of the movie wets my appetite and anticipation of the next movie in this series. Great job Stan Lee and group!
