Alice in Wonderland was truly a beautiful and amazing movie. Helena Bonham Carter stole the show!!! I loved the message of the movie - we all are in control of our destinies and have the strength and wisdom to make our own decisions that are best for each and one of every one of us.
This movie was my first experience with 3D. I was a bit apprehensive about seeing this kind of movie being that I wear glasses. The 3D glasses miraculously fit over my glasses, so I was able to enjoy the experience.
This movie was Tres Excelente!!! Meryl Streep was phenomenal as Julia Child!!! She was so excellent that you forgot that you were looking at Merly Streep and actually looking at Julia Child... From the voice to the mannerisms, you could tell that Ms. Streep did her homework... Amy Adams was lukewarm in her performance. I loved this theme of the movie - With hard work and perseverance, one can achieve anything!!!
I was curious to see how they would repackage Star Trek and I was BLOWN AWAY!!! The story lines were very good and the special effects were PHENOMENAL!!!!! The cast was superb and the cameos of well known actors was a lovely surprise. This movie is definitely a MUST SEE!!!
This movie was very good, but it was not EXCELLENT... It was interesting to see how Tyler Perry would adapt the play to the big screen... Keshia Knight Pullam has definitely come a long way from being 'little Rudy' on the Cosby Show!!!!
I was wondering how this movie was going to play out and I was BLOWN AWAY!!! Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett both deserve OSCARS for the performances!!! BRAVO!!!
I felt that this movie was just O.K. The special effects were top rate, but I felt that more could have been done with the story line. The one bright note, the movie made you think about the effects man has had on the Earth and our environment.
This is an excellent movie!!! I cried so much I had a sinus headache!!! The cast was wonderful, the flow of the movie was perfect. I am so proud of Jada Pickett Smith - Executive Producer. This movie is definitely a must see!!!
This movie was more dramatic than the previous movies I have seen by Tyler Perry. It actually had a soap opera feel with an underlying moral tying everything together. It was worth seeing Kathy Bates and Robin Givens (where have they been??!!!) - BTW, they worked very well together. This movie is definitely a must see!!!
Watching this version of the 1930's film and stage play was a lovely surprise. It was adapted beautifully to present day. There were spots where the story did not flow very quickly, but it is definitely worth seeing.
I was lucky enough to see the stage performance in London for my 40th Birthday. This film version was a lovely surprise. From the location on a beautiful greek island to the performances by the cast (who knew Pierce Brosnan could sing and still be sexy?), they achieved the same feeling you felt after seeing the stage performance - feeling good, light as air and still singing your favorite ABBA songs!!!! Stellan and Meryl were phenomenal!!!
