Rather typical Hollywood product

Short of special effects that are really amazing, Avatar is a mediocre movie quite in line with other Cameron films. The sloppy plot, cardboard characters, and PC mentality irritate and prevent the viewer from completely dissolving in the magic world.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
