Wait for the DVD

Did not live up to my expectations. I was hoping for more "scare and horror" and less horrible camera footage. The ending lacked imagination and it was totally predictable. I mean, 4 possessions - 4 people, really?
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Although it's not my favorite FD, number 5 was still really good, kept us cringing throughout the whole movie. Great effects, seeing it in 3D would've been too much for me, Im sure many would love it. The minds behind this FD are truly, creatively sick and very gory, which just adds to the excitement.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I'm an avid JD fan, but once again, this Pirates of the Caribbean is good, not Great, but good.

Surprisingly Good!

I wasn't looking forward to seeing this movie because I didn't care for the book. However, my 9 and 13 yr olds wanted to see it, so we did. I actually enjoyed the entire film. Much better than the boring, black and white book.

The Tale of Desperaux, a sad a tale in deed

We have been looking forward to this movie since my nine year old read the book in her second grade class, last year. The previews made the movie appear to be a comedy about bravery. The actual movie lacked in humor and in bravery. This is the first "book made into a movie" movie that I have been disappointed in. My children were just as disappointed.

All I can say is that I bet they had a tremendous amount of fun making this film. Their enjoyment was obvious through every performance, which made it very entertaining.
