Ok, I am a HUGE fan of this series. So going into the movie, I already knew it wouldn't/couldn't be as good. That said, I think they did a pretty good job. The first time I saw it, I admit I was just a little disappointed. There is just not enough time to build their relationship properly. However, after going back and seeing it again... I love it! I think I spent so much time comparing it to the book the 1st time, that I forgot to sit back and relax. If you saw it once and felt the same as I did, go see it again! Now I can't wait for the DVD!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
