It really is like no place on earth --- to hide for your life. A harrowing and gripping story of human endurance courage, perseverance and survival skills. a must see movie, documentary, to understand man's depravity, but also mens stubbornness and will to live.
I am not sorry I saw the movie, but I would not put it on my "must" list. It is a little far fetched, and improbable. Much action , a lot of fighting incredible odds, but survival in the forests under horrible and cruel conditions is a bit too much to believe. I felt it was glamorized.
Pretty good- little overlong - a little confusing- but keeps you in suspense.. I don't know how true to facts, but intriguing. A mixture of many experiences. the bottom line message is that war is futile cruel useless and a no winner.Everybody is diminished the victor and the vanquished. David
A drab dreary sliver of life. A dirt poor but basically decent single mother of two, gets involved out of necessity with a criminal activity. Necessity and desperation could drive anyone into crime and violence. However it opens an insight into a life not often shown in movies, which usually try to entertain or amuse. This is serious, and dreary, but not depressing.
