Don't recommend for small children as there's a lot over their heads but it wouldn't be harmful to them and they may enjoy the animation/animals, etc. My husband and I really thought it was entertaining and thought-provoking. I shed a few tears near the beginning and end.
Loads of intense, edge-of-the-seat action. Decent storyline, just not very deep. Laughed when I saw "Arnold" but was glad; wouldn't have been "Terminator" without him!
Nicholas Cage has definitely done better films than this one. There were some suspenseful moments in the movie but overall, it was nothing to get excited about. Wouldn't bother to see it again. Go see "Taken" instead.
Light-hearted movie . A few chuckles here and there. Speaks to what's really important in life. No surprises in this movie, though. Overall, an ok movie.
"Madea Goes to Jail" was really 2 movies in one. It did not flow from drama to comedy, and vice-versa, very well and it was obvious every time it changed scenes. Madea was really funny (this is the first Madea movie I've seen) and the drama was compelling but it was too disconnected until toward the end. Overall, I did like it; the acting was very good.
The plot was a little hard to follow at times. The acting was believable but the movie all-in-all was just ok. One plus-the action in the museum; it was edge-of-your-seat suspense the whole time.
Very interesting that we're finally getting to know some history that was pretty much unknown until now. The Jewish people have endured so much hardship over the centuries, yet still prevail. The movie was very interesting, a little slow in some places but brilliantly done. One could really feel for the people and their immense struggles and heartache.
Good movie with an interesting plot. Keeps you engaged the entire time. My husband and I really enjoyed the movie and think that teenagers should see it, too. Valuable lessons intertwined in the storyline. You won't be disappointed with this one!
This movie just was NOT funny. At best, a few forced chuckles. You were happy he found love at last, but it was SO predictable. Sorry; can't recommend this one. I will add that at least it wasn't crude and offensive like some "comedies" they make these days.
