The love story in this movie was believable. It was engaging and I just wanted everything to be OK in the end but ............ Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams are very talented and whatever they do is usually worth watching. I wasn't disappointed. One of the better movies playing at the theaters right now.
The special effects, especially with the Joes, were awesome. It was edge-of-your-seat action! I do have to add that the acting wasn't the best. All-in-all a decent flick. I will probably see it again.
It made my husband and I sleepy......and for goodness sakes, all those number flashes were totally distracting. The point was, love isn't always reciprocated. With that said, the point was made in a blah way.
Sad story; can't compare to the book as I didn't read it. Very believable. Great acting. The film did a great job examining some of the hard family issues to face when dealing with a dying child. Will make one ponder the brevity of life. Mild tearjerker so bring a kleenex.
The story was sooo predictable. Over-the-top potty mouth. Definitely not for younger kids. The action was good but then it went on FOREVER at the end. They could have cut it in half and still would have been too much. And who really believes all the girls want Sam? Hollywood is grasping for straws, what a shame! Unbelievable!
What suspense and edge-of your-seat action! Keeps with the tradition of Star Trek through the years. Fans won't be disappointed. A sweet twist with Spock and Uhura but it was so unbelievable; they could have left that out. Wow, didn't even begin to recognize Eric Bana! Great job JJ!
Nothing like the first NATM. There was little interesting or entertaining in this movie. Try as I may, it was just not good. Also, judging from the people in the theater, my husband and I weren't the only ones thinking this. Waste of otherwise good acting talent. Save your money, or better yet, go see "Up".
My husband and I liked the movie. Not the best I've seen but it kept your interest for the entire time. It was better than the other X-Men movies; I like how it focused more on one character and developed him.
Eddie Murphy was funny, not vulgar as his usual. A decent family movie. It was ok, nothing to get excited about. Seems like we've seen this theme a hundred times before.........ho hum. The little girl was cute.
