3D Imax is way over-rated and over-priced for this film. It was a decent kids' (and adults') movie but I found myself yawning way too much! Definitely won't see again.
It was an ok movie; I'm just not a big fan of sci-fi so it was ok, nothing spectacular. My husband thought the old version was much better. He was very disappointed!
Great graphics/animation we've come to expect nowadays! We weren't disappointed! The visual depth was intriguing. Had a great story, but unfortunately, there are a lot of messages in the storyline. Hollywood, keep your politics to yourself!
A good movie. Meryl Streep is a great actress and the guys did a good job, too. Really wanted them to get back together but......what's done is done. Think BEFORE you act. It's Very Complicated!
This movie didn't deliver any major surprises, but there was plenty of chuckles to be had and it was just general fun. It's a good family-type movie that will warm your heart. Just don't expect to be blown away! It is, what it is. Enjoy!
Heartwarming. We could all learn a lot from this movie. Sandra Bullock's best performance and all the kids did a great job, too. My husband and I both really enjoyed the film and highly recommend it. Gets you in the "holiday mood".
OK, special effects were good but nowadays that's expected. The movie had no real substance.....so predictable and so unbelievable. A lot of political undertones. There are better ways to spend almost 3 hours.
It was a decent movie if you get past some of the language. SO many over-the-top things happened which made it a bit boring and unbelievable (had to turn away and yawn several times towards the end). The acting and storyline were good and the developing relationship between the mother & son was the saving grace. If you can get past all the "stuff", it's an ok movie.
Madea is too funny. Her story of Jesus walking on the water was hilarious........Interesting how drama and comedy is intertwined. Very well done and true-to-life. I saw it twice; highly recommended.
