Does not come close to original

Movie was made with mostly unknown actors that did not distinguish themselves in this movie. Special effects were better in the original version which was made over 20 years ago. Only rates a fair at best.

Surprisingly Entertaining

Great cast ! Good dialog but limited. Movie should win an award for alien characters. Pace of film was a bit slow. Overall, it was enjoyable.

This was an entertaining movie but lacked depth during the last 15 minutes. Cage does a very good job in bringing his character to life. Excellent sets and photography.

This movie did a much better job of following the book and using most of the characters . Some of the humor in the book was overlooked which made the movie a bit darker than necessary.

This movie was not fantastic but does provide the viewer with a good movie going experience. The acting was good given the material and the infiltration of comedy was great. A bit long.

The only good thing about this movie was the casting. There was too much blood and gore. The story line fell apart half way through the movie.

An Improvement over last 3 films

With the exception of the first two films, all subsequent films do not closely follow the book. Characters are eliminated in an obvious attempt to save money and exciting or tricky parts of the book are eliminated because they would cost too much money to recreate. The movie was average and does not live up to the hype.

Outstanding Entertainment

The change in plot from the original added positively to this remake. The acting by all involved was outstanding. There was never a boring moment in the movie. I would recommend this movie highly to anyone.

Entertaining Sequel

Special effects were outstanding and sets were very realistic. Actors were diverse and I enjoyed the international flavor that was introduced. Very entertaining and I would recommend it to anyone.
