I really did not know what to expect when I went to the movies to see "The Secret World of Arrietty." This movie happened to be the only "G" rated movie at the theater and I wanted to take my girls out to an early movie on Presidents Day. To my surprise the movie was really good. Within the 1hr 34min run time, I went through a plethora of emotions. There were moments of frustration, anxiety, excitement, and compassion. All of these moments led to conversations with a 4 year old and 8 year old on the way home about the movie. The moment I arrived home, I told my wife, "We have got to see this movie, so we can talk about it."
I am quite sure that many others may not feel the way I did about the movie...However, as far as I am concerned, it was a movie that could have gone on longer.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I was really excited about this movie, but after watching it, I was very disappointed. The story line did not make much sense. Seriously. The best part of the film was toward the end, when the action really began to mount. I would have to admit that the action kept me at the edge of my seat and the effects are really amazing and that is a good thing. But as far as a movie that made sense...I would have to say it was not as good as the first one.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

"This is It" is a great movie. I consider myself a "MJ FAN..." but this movie showed a very serious Michael Jackson who knows how to deliver music to those that haves invested in him. (I do not know why...but I thought that Michael had lost his singing edge ) HOWEVER... After watching the movie Michael showed that he can sing old school R & B, and New School Rock and roll! No fan will be disappointed!
