Could have been cleverer

The film is very interesting visually however the writing left me cold. Not much in the way of a story. Loved the cartoon version as a child and now all these years later I guess I have different expectations when it comes to entertaining dialogue. I was kind of sorry I didn't follow my instinct and go to see Crazy Heart :)
No, I do not recommend this movie.
