Cheesy ploy for a sequel

The movie starts out slow and never really picks up. If ever there was a movie that I wanted my money back for, this would be it. Just when you thought the story was going somewhere, the credits started to roll and the cheesy Commic Book panes came up showing the lead character bashing the aliens. Run out of money??
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Not What I expected!

From the time I saw the original preview and saw that Jim Carrey was portraying Scrooge, I expected something special from the character such as he had done for the Grinch. Although the story was good, the use of the "Fly Throughs" in the cities could have been reduced. Just because 3D effects are used, they don't have to be over done. Perhaps they should sell Dramamine at the concession stands. Over all, very disappointed!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
