A very nicely made movie with an interesting story and excellent performances by the fine cast. Very young children will not likely be entertained because there is actually more story than action. Sacha Baron Cohen's appearance was an interesting surprise and his performance was excellent.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

They did so little with such an amazing satire with real cinematic potential. And, with such a cast with latent talent. The more I think about it the more I think we wasted our time and money. A rainy day diversion at best. The 3D technology really added nothing to the story. The book deserved more attention and respect. Apparently, it hasn't been out of print since its publication 285 years ago. The filmmakers could only get 85 minutes to put on the screen. What were they doing with all of the time and money they invested?
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Shallow Plot-No Deppth

Entertaining Fluff. No much original. Almost everybody loves those 2 but this is a rental travelogue. Not too sure about one of my favorite actors (Depp) playing against type. Fun to watch. Rent it. Save time and money. Actually, rent Benny & Joon or Don Juan DeMarco to see Johnny Depp in something really good.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
