Obviously blockbuster Bollywood films are meant to be over-the-top and a Karan Johar film is especially meant to tug at every heart string and overplay every moment. However, Johar takes the story just a little too far--it could've used some good editing and still told the same story. However Kajol looks AMAZING and does some of her best acting. Shah Rukh Khan does a good job of imitating someone with Autism, though in the movie he is only supposed to have Aspergers, which is less severe than what Khan has depicted. Cut out the "Georgia" stuff and you still have a good movie, Mr. Johar. An even more powerful one. An ordinary story can be extraordinary, there is no need to add an extra layer of drama.
