I took a 14 year old who said it was the best movie of his life. And I thought it would be a liitle much for the 11 year old, especially in length, but he stated it was better than Transformers. It was very realistic (for Science Fantasy) and believable characters. Great story line and even a touch of humor.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
