Going into this film, as I try to do with every film, I put all the biases I have for any actor, director, studio, etc in the back burner and just enjoy the show. This time was no exception, and I have to admit, i was pleasantly surprised at how much fun this movie was to watch. Although we were stuck in the third row and in a sea of small children, I found myself laughing and smiling in amazement along with them.
As for the one major "flaw" critics saw with this film (the climactic battle scene) I do have to point out, that it didn't come as a surprise. You know it's coming, and when it does, it is completely enjoyable.
Go see this movie, leave your expectations in the car, and just enjoy a well made film.
