Edge of Darkness Review

Directed by Casino Royale helmer Martin Campbell - Edge of Darkness is headlined by Mel Gibson as the grieving father of slain twenty-four year old daughter, Emma, played briefly by Bojana Novakovic.
We touched on this movie possibly being Gibson's grandstand return to the acting world. But it's not. You don't have be a critic to agree while this movie grips on the strings of parenthood, Gibson's skills as a dynamic and layered actor aren't really explored or utilized. With that being said, this isn't a "Braveheart" Gibson but more of a "Pay Back" one. The violent death of Craven's daughter leaves a lasting impression setting the pace for what's to follow.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
