Pure entertainment and good jokes!

It is a great movie to go to if you have been stressed all week...or all year. It's what movies were originally meant for....to take the working masses out of their cubicles and have fun! I liked the setting as, yes, I too could go down nostalgia lane with the greasers and preppies etc. I had to explain to my son's 9 year old friend what "I like Ike" meant. But that is why I loved it. It contributed to a lift in spirits for a couple of days. That's what pure entertainment does.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
