The story is passable, the acting is good enough, the social commentary and agenda is terribly annoying, and the CGI is impeccable. This movie is a work of art, and certainly worth seeing. It may even be worth seeing again. There was not one moment in the entire movie when I thought, "Hey, that's CG." The 3D left a little bit to be desired, though. Some of the previews did a better job of using the 3D than the movie.
Overall, I give it two thumbs up. It's huge, loud, and epic. If you go purely to be entertained, you won't be let down. This is one of those movies you'll kick yourself for not seeing in the theater.
