As true to the book as it gets

The movie was extremely good. I am always a little skeptical of how accurate a movie is that is based off of a book but the Hunger Games did a pretty awesome job. There are small variations here and there but overall it stayed true. In my mind, the opening scene at the start of the Hunger Games was much more gruesome but they did a good job of toning it down without ruining the overall experience. I greatly enjoyed it and will recommend.

Sad to watch it end, but worth it

One word....AWESOME! The emotion in this movie runs deep but true to the book....I didn't want the movie to end. I would have been more then willing to sit there another 3 hours to finish the story out. I attended the Harry Potter Adventure screening (Order of the Phoenix, Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows back to back) and it was sooooo worth the 8 - 9 hours of Harry Potter-y goodness!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not Great but better than the first 2

Well let's be honest, the movie was not great but good enough. I saw it on opening night and was a little let down. I greatly enjoyed the books and was hoping for more. I think they were trying to be mindful of the time and chopped the story up. It was an OK movie. It will probably sell alot b/c of all the Twilight fanatics but there are definitely movies out right now that are alot better than this one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
