Overall I would say the movie was exactly what I had expected. I appreciated that it was not a remake of the original Alice in Wonderland but, instead, a sequel. I really thought the movie worked and was cast very well. I was also very happy that Disney kept some of their influence out of the film and allowed the caterpillar to smoke his hookah, etc.
As always the IMAX 3D is a phenomenal format for movies. Like Avatar, this movie really brought you in with the beautiful visuals and awesome sound. They took a few liberties with the 3D format wich seemed to work and add excitement to the senses.

I have to admit there were some disturbing parts to the movie... at least if you're heterosexual. Overall though, not as funny as Borat but, funny none the less! Sacha it it on the head once again with this movie showing us how "stupid" regular people can be and how genius his comedic talent is! Id say 3 1/2 stars is about right for this flick.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Well... it was hard for me to decide whether or not i really liked the movie. I was kinda split in my own mind. It had everything yet... I left wanting a bit more.
Overall I gave it 4 stars out of 5 based on the duality of the characters and the multiple story layers. Although long, it had enough depth and excitement to keep my interest.
I guess when I compare it to a movie like Sin City it lacked something. When I compare it to a movie like The Spirit it was really well done. It's hard for me to put a finger on what was missing. Its like eating a good bowl of chili that lacks a little spice.
