Second time was the charm ...

I went into this film being a huge fan of the novels and little scared of being disappointed. While the film does stray from the novel at times it still tells this amazing story of impossible love. I went opening night feeling like a giddy school girl again, and left still feeling the same. When the film was over I was shocked ..... the fastest 2 hours EVER. There was still so much I was waiting to see and I wasn't ready for it to end. I decided to see it again with better clarity (not at 12 am!) and LOVED it. I was even better the second and third times around. I was able to appreciate the film separate from the novel. Very much looking forward to the remaining 3 movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
