Another amazing effort from the director Ken Burns! Based on the best selling book written by his daughter Sara, and in partnership with Sara and her husband David McMahon, Mr. Burns has delivered yet another powerful, blockbuster of a film.
This documentary will have you leaving the theatre shaking your head in disbelief over the way the headline grabbing case of the Central Park Five was investigated and prosecuted by the New York City Police Department and the Manhattan District Attorneys Office. This film is a must see for socially conscious people everywhere, but especially for New Yorkers who should still hold their city accountable for this shameful travesty of justice.
Go see it and take your friends with you. You'll be glad you did.
