Abrams/Spielberg... "Dynamic Duo!"

What a cool movie! If you like "Goonies" and "E.T." then you'll love "Super 8." Nobody captures the imagination and brings Sci-Fi to the big screen quite like Spielberg... until he paired up with J.J. Abrams. Great family fun. I highly recomend seeing it in IMAX if possible.

This was not the same caliber of film I have come to expect from DiCaprio & Scorsese. The performances were great. However, I found the story to be somewhat predictable and slow. Definitely NOT on the same level as The Departed or Gangs of New York. :(
