Too much of a good thing

It was a good movie, with great parts. The first one had a better story line and disbursed the action scenes throughout. This one was one long action scene which tends to overwhelm the viewer and make you immune to the wow moments. If there were quieter moments, you would be even more impressed by the action scenes. The roommate character was unnecessary. The dorm scene with the mom was a nice and welcome break to all the action and information. The Smithsonian Decepticon should have either had a bigger part or not been in at all and cut the playing time of the movie. Overall, it was a good movie but I have no interest in viewing a second time, which our family usually does with big action films.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
