Saw this in the new AMC Mainstreet theater in Kansas City, MO. Beautiful theater, great renovation. Too bad the film didn't come up to the level of its venue. No chemistry between the two stars, tired formula, poor writing. Michael Douglas looks like he has a complete set of dentures - so white they jump off the screen. I guess he needed the money because he's way better than that. I would give it a C at best.
I think this is a movie for the younger set - they seem to be rating it higher. For me, it had none of the "Bogart and Bacall" or "Tracy and Hepburn" magic, or even Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner. Skip this one if your're over 40.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
