Expectations high from others' reviews but wasn't lifted to their praises. The blend of technique (which was extra- ordinary) and the fidelity to the art form of silent films was nothing short of genius. My small disappointment relates to how it ends and the obliterated voice of George Valentine. Can't say more without being too explicit. Definitely worth seeing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great ensemble and a beautiful dance amongst all actors. Could not be better. Captures the real dynamics of individuals trying to figure out how to cope with multiple crises while growing together. A model much needed for our current era.
