Even though this movie at times is very funny, it is not actually a comedy. It makes the FBI look like unbelievable idiots, but if you can stick with it, it will be well worth your time. It definitely is not a movie everyone will like, but I got a great kick out of it. The question you should ask yourself is "how much money did he steal?" and "where did he hide it?"
It was entertaining, but it certainly didn't break any new grounds with the plot or the special effects. The ending however wasn't worthy of the story, and it was basically a walk-on for some of the Hollywood talent.
I really hadn't expected much from this movie. I thought it would be more Bollywood than Hollywood, but I have to admit it was absolutely smashing. The screenplay was well done, and the way the questions were woven into the character's life was amazing. I still don't feel it was the Best movie of the year, but it certainly deserved to have been tied in 1st place with Benjamin Button.
Absolutely wonderful film that captured your attention from the beginning to the end. It's been a long time since an adult film told a beautiful and intriguing story with such intelligence and integrity.
A prequel that fills in the spaces generated by the second film, and it works. I enjoyed the action and the story despite the gore. I guess the next prequel will explain how Bill Nighy became a vampire. The physical resemblance between the Sonias was outstanding.
I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. It gave a very moving portrayal of a young man with a dream, who was able to achieve that dream and move on to manhood and success. It's too bad like so many other rapper he wasn't able to survive his past or the street. It's a good movie for young people to see, that success comes from hard work and support from family and friends.
Great movie with great acting and a plot that keeps you thinking even when it gets convoluted. Makes you realize how many cops get eaten alive by the system, and knowing how to play the game keeps you alive and a player. Similar to The Departed and Training Day in the play of good cop/bad cop, but in the end everyone turns out to be both. If mindless violence turns you off, this movie is not for you.
