This movie had me laughing and crying. But mostly laughing. Tyler Perry keeps out doing himself. Other directors can call him whatever, but he has talent. The movie reminded me of what my mom was dealing with when she was dealing with her cancer. But God prevailed!!! Excellent movie all people of different races and ages.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Alot of people on my job said they had no plans on seeing the movie, for it was a remake of Love and Basketball. That it is not. I loved this movie. I am not a fan of Common, but he won me over some yesterday with his acting skills. This is a lovely movie. One will laugh and cry at the same time. I am fan of the Queen and Ms Phylicia Rashad, so their skills did not impress me. I do love the bond between mother and son in the movie for sure. Phylicia is a perfect mother in whatever role she takes on. Again, EXCELLENT movie for ALL to see.
Tyler Perry has out done himself one more time. Each movie he does is better than the next.
Madea is a hot mess. I love her.
I am so glad Derek Luke's friend came around and told him about his fiance'. I would not have thought he was in love with Keisha's character, but I hope for the future she comes around to complete school and makes something of herself.
This was GREAT! Tyler out did himself with this one. He selected the perfect actors to play each part. I was sad at the end when Kathy Bates took her life though. I guess she just could not take loosing it. It did get me when Rockmond took Sanaa's money out of her acct after she made it clear that she did not support his get rich schemes. But when he slapped the heck out of her, it made the whole theatre clap.
