Yes Heath Ledger is wonderfully dark and disturbing Joker. But for the rest of the movie....disjointed choppy action that your not sure is necessary to sustain any sort of plot. Its like someone forgot the point of the movie when they edited it. no chemistry between the actors. Caine, Freeman, Eackhart, Oldman, Gyllenhaal. None at all. And any more closeups of Bale whispering in a gravely voice and I thought I was going to puke. Not even Gotham City was any good. Clearly shot in Chicago. On a nice sunny day. In the Middle of the day!!
There were some minor parallels drawn between our current terrorism obsession down to even the ethics of wiretapping, but it was all a little to lame.
