Fake but Funny

I was expecting a more intelligent scary movie. The movie wasn't boring BUT it was extremely fake and relies heavily on the gross-out scenes. For instance, a dead body at a funeral falls on the heroine and formaldehyde flows out of the body's mouth all over the heroine. Perhaps the movie was aimed at middle school boys? Seeing it on the big screen probably made it better, as a rental I'm not sure if I would have even watched it till the end - which any thinking person will see coming. One surprise: What the heroine does with her kitty. Check your brain at the door and get ready to laugh.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Tons of great action sequences. Heath Ledger's joker is phenomenal. This is one to see more than once.
