I will just keep (try to) simple. The funniest movie I have seen in a loooooong time. The characters were not stupid they were idiots. There was a lot going on but, my wife.mother and I were not lost at any point. The Brothers have done it again. Favorite characters were portrayed by J.K Simmons and the actor from the SLEDGEHAMMER tv show. In closing it is not a stupid movie(considering more than half the theater was rolling) it is just filled with interesting and idiotic characters.
This may contain some spoilers!!!!!!!!!!!! It is hard to call this a sequel when it flows as smoothly as it did with the first one. The story was fresh and brought just about every aspect of the antagonists personality to the bigger screen. The Joker was fearful and wonderfully portrayed by the (unfortunate) late and great Heath Ledger. I was sceptical in joining how great of a job he did until I actually saw the film, and I was blown away. The rest of the cast performed beuatifully together. Some parts they used characters(in my opinion) improperly and then (again in my opinion) hinted at certain characters. The last 10 minutes of the movie was a little off for me, but it did not take away from the rest of the wonderful movie. If you are a Batman fan or (in Heath Legder's case) a fan of great acting, do yourself the favor and go experience THE DARK KNIGHT
I have been eagerly awaiting this since I heard of a possible sequal shortly after the first. To say I was not disappointed is an understatement. I L O V E D it. It was a sequal but, fresh and interesting. The special fx were wonderful and the visual fx were at times, disturbing but, felt at home in the movie. The story was involved and brought more depth to the characters and introduced us to the fairy realms and did not forget to touch on old Reds background.......SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only thing that felt strange was not knowing the gestation period for human/demon consemption........And for some reason it seemed to me that Red "lost a few pounds?".........bottom line GREAT MOVIE
One of the best summer movies. The Marvel stuff was great but, Hancock was fresh and a little "realastic". In my opinion this is what would happen if someone had real super powers. And they pretty much covered all of their bases as far as the storyline and included an interesting twist. I found this to be an extremely well rounded movie, from the acting to the spfx. Some people might find it over-exaggerated in parts but, I did not.
The animation from Wall E was some of the best I have seen and the characters, most of them are robots, were fresh. The plot was very eco friendly and if you were probably 13+ you did not need to think much about it. It was there in plain sight. I think the animation is enough to hold the younger audiences and the sci-fi should keep the older ones interested. If you have enjoyed other Pixar films, this one is one of the best.
Wanted is taken in part from a comic book by the same name. I know they usually miss the mark with these types of movies but. I was still hopeful. The original source material also centered around the Fraternity of asassins that had basically taken over the world already and the sweetened up the father son relationship. And most of the characters were not used correctly. Having said that. it was not a bad action flick. Do not get me wrong the action was beautiful, direction stylized, acting was amazing. I believe if you enjoyed the book you would have a hard time swallowing this movie and if you know nothing all the better to see the movie
An amazing movie........far better than the 1st. this one has more character growth and it seemed that everyone involved with the movie cared about what they were doing and cared what people were going to think. the story was awesome leaving it wide open for franchise development.......
