Better the second time!

I saw The Dark Knight in IMAX the night it came out in July.I took my 15 year old son,and we were both AMAZED at the sound and video quality.To see the Joker in all of his glory-literally-was breathtaking.This past Friday night,I took my best friend,who had seen the movie with me but never in IMAX.She put it in words that sums up my review:All action movies should be seen like this!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

An explosive roller coaster ride!

The Dark Knight is one of those movies that grabs onto you and steals your breath for two and a half hours.The movie seems like an endless series of explosions with psychotic breaks from The Joker.In all honesty,I went to see the late Heath Ledger,but I was so pulled in by the darkness of the story and the richness of the characters...plus the few surprises that were thrown in for good measure.Easily the best movie of the summer.
Caution:The scenes in The Dark Knight are much too intense for younger kids.I have a 12 year old and I wouldn't want him seeing it on the big screen-home DVD is much less severe.The make-up alone is enough to scare the heck out of a die-hard horror fan!
