Yes, you have to suspend reality a bit to buy into the premise of this movie, but it's quite a nice break from reality. The action scenes are good even if the story is a bit unbelievable, but it's a good escape...and isn't that why we go to the movies?

10 Nominees Dilutes Quality

I've been attending the Best Picture Showcase since it was initiated 4 years ago. This year, I chose to attend just the second Saturday. While I still think this is a great deal and a very fun day, the fact that 10 movies were nominated made for a much lower quality experience. In past years, I've been blown away by the 5 Best Picture nominees; this year, while the movies were good, only 1 or 2 were what I would consider Best Picture material.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Quite Thought Provoking

WIthout giving away the plot, this movie doesn't end as you might expect it...which is a nice surprise. Clooney is great and the issues brought up throughout the movie are compelling. Wonder how much American Airlines paid to have its brand showcased so much? :-)
