There are moments of greatness in the movie, but they are too few and far inbetween. The acting is good and you do connect with the characters. i think the 3D effects were pretty much wasted on this movie and some of the fight scenes were too jumbled. It was like watching bodies and dirt being flung about. I missed the clarity of motion and action that other movies like 300 had in their fight scenes.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Award winning film... no. Insight into the musical genius of Michael Jackson... yes. You see him entirely in his element. You get a glimpse of the amazing talent and passion that he had for music and the world. My daughter and I loved this tribute to Michael and oh man oh man what a concert the world missed!!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
