I really enjoyed this movie! I am 46yrs old and a comic book fan (I'm a girl!) and I thought the story was very well written and the acting great (especially McAvoy and Fassbender as Charles and Eric).
I am curious why they didn't stick close to the original X-men Comic characters as the first X-Men were Cyclops, Beast, Angel (Warren Worthington) and Jean Grey -- however, I still thought it was well done and well-paced.
I didn't enjoy January Jones at all. Even in Mad Men, she is a bit 'stiff'. All in all, I would recommend this movie!

Loved It! Huge Wolverine Fan

I'm a 44yr old female and have been a fan of the X-Men comics since I was a teen.
While the reviews have been mixed, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and think Hugh Jackman did a great job!
My only wish was that the characters of Deadpool and Gambit were in it more. I really enjoyed Gambit; and since it's the first time that character has transitioned from the comics to the big screen; it would have been nice to see more from this character. I thought the actor Taylor Kitsch (sp?) did a great job!
Way to go Hugh! Go see the movie and determine for yourself if you enjoy it or not;
