G.I. Yuck!!!!

How can I give the movie one star then turn around and recommend people to go see it? The reason I will recommend this movie is that kids will like it. This movie is bad, and I mean really bad. There is little if any plot. The character development stinks and the fantastic gadgets are ridiculous. Yet, through all of that, which bored me to tears, my kids loved the action of this movie. My kids were not alone either; kids throughout the theater loved this movie. Take your kids to and they will love it, but you will hate it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Harry Potter and the FULL-Blood FUN!!

Before I took the family to see this movie I read and heard many negative reviews about this movie. The main complaint was that this movie did not follow the book well at all, so the movie was bad. Well, I read all of the books and I thought the movie was great. Folks, it is almost impossible for a movie to be made just like the book. If they did, this movie would have been seven hours long. The liberties they took with the story were fine and they did not harm the story. Go see this movie and have fun, you will enjoy it.

I WALKED OUT!!!!!

I cannot remember a single movie that I have seen in my life that I have walked out of in the middle of the movie; well Bruno is the first!! I gave the movie one star because the rating system with Movie Tickets.com will not allow you to give it anything less. If I could I would give it ZERO stars. This movie is terrible and very, very mean spirited. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS MOVIE!!
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Transformers: Revenge of FUN!!

There are too many sequels that fall so very short of the original film. On the other hand there are a small select group of films that equal or exceed the original film, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is one of the latter. The plot was original, the characters showed development, the action was great, and the special effects were fantastic. I do have two bones to pick with the makers of this movie. First, all of the additional obscene language in the film was not necessary at all in this movie. Second, some of the sight gags that were obviously aimed at the adults were not needed either; too many kids will be attending. Other that those two points, this is a great movie so go see it and have fun.

UP--lifting

I read several reviews before I took my family to see this movie. I saw that there were people who gave UP a bad review because the movie was too sad. After seeing UP I wondered if those people saw the same movie as I did. True there are parts of the movie that seems a bit sad, but the overall message of the movie was to treat life as the adventure it is. No matter how old you are, or your circumstances you need to live life to the fullest. UP is a great movie for the entire family and I predict this movie will be remembered as one of the all time Disney classics like Bambi or Cinderella.

The Battle of Awesome!!!!

The sequel to Night at the Museum was a load of fun, but it was predictable. Even though it was not as original as the first movie, it was still a great movie for the family to see. As my daughter said, “This movie had fantastic awesomeness!!” I think that is a positive review!!

Terminator Fantastic!!!!

Terminator Salvation in several ways departs from the old hat Terminator movies and looks at John Conner as the leader of the human resistance. Furthermore, this movie makes SkyNet not just some sort of blunt object that sends out robots to smash and kill. In this movie SkyNet is much more sinister and cunning. As a parent, I would warn that some of the movie’s story line might be a bit much for kids, but its fine for teens. This is a great movie!!

Illuminati Attack!!??

If you are going to Angels & Demons too see Dan Brown’s book exactly transferred to the big screen, you will not that with this movie. To be honest, I really cannot think of a single book that has transferred word for word from the text to the big screen. That is the same here with Angels & Demons. Ron Howard adapted the book to the movie screen. Did he change parts of the story? Yes. Did that make the movie bad? NO!! This is an excellent movie, go see it.

Boldly go where no one has gone....

Does J.J. Abrams completely alter the Star Trek world with this movie? Yes. Will there be Trekkies who are horrified at this new look at Star Trek? Yes. Does that mean this is a bad movie? NO!!! This movie simply takes a well know sci-fi universe that in many ways has run its course and recreated it. The new looks at who Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, and the rest are was bold and refreshing. Long time Star Trek fans and non-fans alike will enjoy this movie.

X-Men Origins.....Okay.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine very obviously tells of the origin of Marvel Comics mega-star mutant. As with most movies about comic book heroes, movie makers do not follow the comic book story of the hero as in this movie. Does that hurt this movie? No, but it doesn’t help a lot either. Overall the movie is “okay” it’s not great, but “okay.” The rest of the family enjoyed the movie, so I think it is okay for the kids too.
