It Followed the Book

After reading the critic's reviews, I was prepared for a lackluster adaptation of the book. I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed all the characters in the movie as well as as the book. I thought Julia Roberts portrayed Liz really well. In each phase of her travels, I could feel the emotions being sated every step of the way. If you have ever been searching in your life, I think this movie will touch you.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A fun chick-flick

Ladies - leave the boys at home. This movie is a great afternoon out with the girls. Lots of fun, fashion and eye candy for sure!!! I thought SATC2 was better than the first. Really enjoyed it all!!!

A lovely afternoon with Julie & Julia

I really enjoyed this movie. I felt drawn in by both Julie & Julia as if I were an observer there with them. Meryl Streep provided an outstanding portrayal as always. Amy Adams certainly captured the quirkiness of her character and I found her charming. I found the movie to be very uplifting and found myself smiling thoughout.
Definitely a chick-flick... and this chick gives "Julie & Julia" two thumbs up!

Fun Chick Flick

The movie was light and funny but predictable. But that's OK. It was engaging enough that I shed a couple of tears at the end.
Although I probably would have been happier if I paid rental fees instead of theather prices, it was an enjoyable afternoon with the girls.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
