Great Movie

Considering what gets the PG13 rating nowadays. I would have rated this movie PG. I took my 5 yr. old and 11 yr. old to see it. It was a great movie. It had some comedy. Lots of action minus the gore and blood. The story line was very black and white. The lines between good and evil were clearly drawn. We all enjoyed it. Kenneth Branagh did a great job producing this. It's worth noting, my eleven yr. old daughter is sensitive to violence in movies. She loved this moved. "Awesome" were her exact words.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Fun/Shallow

The movie was fun. My 9 yr old daughter loved it. It was shallow and I am sure it was meant to be that way. My expectations going in were that it would be entertaining. My friends however were dissappointed and expected depth. They did not like the way the historical figures were characterized in ways that made them 'hip'. I however took that with a grain of salt, and enjoyed the special effects and fun spirit of the movie. There are some nice shots of DC. I would see it again.

My husband and I enjoyed this movie. However,
I would have rated it PG-13 because of the adult content at the beginning of the movie.. If you have grade school children in whom you would like to preserve innocence for a while...skip this flick.
